  • Our Story

After receiving my first West Bend 510 from my friend Tim Womack, I was hooked. Over the next few years I grew my collection of vintage 2 Stroke engines and my knowledge of the West Bend lineup. I started collecting West Bend, Chrysler, US Marine, US820 and USMP820 engines in all of their sizes, from 5.0 cubic-inch, up to the 8.2 cubic-inch, and even some vintage parts to get even bigger CC numbers. As with most engines, they evolve over time. My goal was to continue the evolution of this piece of vintage Americana and go kart racing history, by bringing you the most up to date version of this classically designed 8.2ci 2-Cycle engine. I hope to achieve a mix of the vintage styling and a touch of some artistic liberties on occasion. A vintage design, but built and updated with modern technology.

Customized Vintage Engine Rebuilds and Restorations

We're extremely proud of our contributions to the go kart, mini bike, and small engine community. From our vintage restorations, to our custom engine builds, we unleash each engine's unique blend of power with our own artistic vision and commitment to quality.

  • Passion and Pleasure combined

My passion for engines is equal to my passion for mini bikes. I was fortunate to become friends with Evan Ruble of Ruble Custom Fabrication, owner and designer of America's smallest production mini bike, the "RCF Micro Mini". Vintage West Bend 6.5ci engine from an "HOFFCO Chainsaw". After upgrading the internals to covert it to a WB700, I did what any grown kid would do... installed it on a mini bike.
