The "Killer Bee" was a fun take on the Power Bee theme. Obvioulsy the more ominous name is due to some key upgrades. I thought West Bend really missed the boat when they didn't paint their engines yellow and black. Any engine called a "Power Bee", should be yellow. The engine has been equiped with external uprades to parts and visual cues. Upgrades like dual carb intake, AZUSA velocity stacks, powder coating, AZUSA exhaust, plus some nice internal modifications. Below is the the first killer bee.

Killer Bee #1 is equiped with a reproduction GEM V12 intake from Terry Ives (tii@surewest.net). I had a hard time finding GEM V12 HARTMAN Throttle Gears, so I after finding a set, I quickly took action and had them digitally recreated and then 3D Resin printed.

The engine is internnaly different than a standard engine, due to the huge boost ported added to the back wall of the cylinder.

This engine also has the 1.77 inch stroker crank installed. Making it a very power eingine on top of the very custom external visual cues.
