Busy Bees

July 21, 2023

It's bee a wild month since my last Power Bee Engine blog post. So, I thought it was time for an update.... since we last "spoke", I've formed the Power Bee Engine, LLC. The hobby is offically a business now. Strange to think back a few years ago to the 510 Tim gave me, and the hunt on eBay for my first 820. It's been a wild ride for sure. We've taken the engine to new heights. Introducing a horde of Boost Ported 820 and 894 engines into the world. We created a wider version of the Hartman Gear system for the new Inline Dual Carb Intake. The Power Bee's and parts we've sold have finaly hit the tracks, and have led the packs. Something really cool came from a USMP prototype engine I recieved. It was a 10ci Drone Engine. I liked the idea of the +.060 over sized bore, so we decided to give it a try. In the coming weeks I'll have a few of the built for testing and sales.

I recently opened a new Website to highlight the more performance based items and engines I work on. www.PowerBeeRacing.com will be the go to place for your race ready stuff and upgrade. Lots of stuff is about to hit the store: High Compression Heads, Dual Intakes, Racing Coils, etc.. the good stuff.

A very exciting bit of news for the Rokon personnel, we've added the most affordable base model engine to the store.

Calculating inflation, you've never been able to buy an 820 for this price. This engine is primarily intended for Rokon applications, but could easily be addapted to a mini bike application.

In the next few monsth, we'll have a handfull of 894 Kart Ready engines available. We've teamed with the Eastern Vintage Karting group to create a Stock Class 894, that will be sealed to create a level playing field at the track. The first Demo engine is in route to the EVK now.
